The Department of Tamil conducted Muthamizh vizha on 29,30,31st January 2025. The famous poet Arivumathi was the chief guest . He delivered a speech on ‘’ தித்திக்கும் தேன் தமிழ்’’ As a continuation of the programme Tamil vazhakkadu mandram lead by kaviyaruvi Dr.D.M.Abdul khader. Dr.P.Sambathkumar, Gudiyatham and poet sinega thirupatur were participated in this programme. Following the event, special guests presented prizes and certificates to the students who won the literary competitions.
The second day (30.01.2025) the department conducted ‘ Isai Arangam ‘. Kanchipuram A.N.R Arts and science college professor principal Dr.V.Ramu wast the chief guest. He delivered a speech on தமிழும் இசையும் lead by Er. Venkatesan, vellore, on இளம் தலைமுறையினர் பெரிதும் விரும்புவது அன்றைய பாடல்களே!. kural Murasu maadhi C. kuppan, Thirumathi chitra, Dr. kavitha senthilnathan, Pulavar S. Mohankumar were participated in this programme.
The third day (31.01.2025) the Department conducted Naadaga Arangam. Thirupathur Sacred heart college, Dr. parthibaraja, Head of the Department of Tamil has delivered a speech on பாரதி இன்றிருந்தால். As a continuation of the programmme, a stuent poet conference was held under the theme of விண்வெளியுகம், Chennai poet . C. Baskaran was the chief guest. He delivered a speech on திருவள்ளுவரும் பாரதியும். Pallikonda poet S.Mohankumar was lead this program. On this occasion a book titled மாணவக் கவிச்சுடர் written by the college students was released at the programme.
