79th Graduation Day (Phase-I)
The 79th Graduation Day (Phase-I) of Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi, was held at the Allama Iqbal Auditorium, today, 18 January, 2025.
The Programme began with the Invocation &Tamil Thai Vazhthu
Mr.L.M. Muneer Ahmed, Secretary and Correspondent declared the Graduation Day open.
Dr. T. Afsar Basha, Principal, welcomed the gathering and presided over the Graduation Day Function.
Today's Graduation Ceremony featured an introduction of the Chief Guest by Dr. S. Khader Nawaz, Vice Principal (Academics).The Chief Guest Janab, M. Razzak, Shahib, Dean & Dean Chartered Accountants, Managing Committee Member, The Muslim Educational Association of Southern India (MEASI), Chennai
Chief Guest highly praised parents and students for selecting this esteemed, century-old college. He advised, it is very important to respect parents; it is their sacrifice that has made them acquire a degree. He said that parents were teachers at home and teachers’ were parents at school. He spoke about the importance of the confidence level in everyone. The present time has many opportunities to succeed and challenges to overcome in the modern world, he encouraged the students to be more creative with new concepts and ideas. He also emphasised words such as integrity and empathy should be remembered every time. And also stressed always looking for the unknown opportunities.
The graduands were presented by the respective department Heads and after the customary pledge, Degree Certificates were distributed by the Chief Guest.
The Ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
