As a part of their curriculum, II B.Sc. Chemistry and Biochemistry Students were taken in to “Ravi Poultry farm” for enhancing their experiential learning in the domain of poultry farming in the presence of the Head of the Department and staff members.
There were 38 students accompanied by Dr. H. Abdul Jaffar Ali, Head, Department of Biotechnology and Dr. M.A. Farook Assistant Professor of Biotechnology along with Mr. K.R. Mahaboob Basha, Lab attender. Students assembled at the College premises at 10.30 am on 3rd August 2023 and proceeded to Ravi farm. The Poultry Farm owner Mr. Ravi and his son Mr. Subash were given a complete knowledge and live experience about poultry rearing technique, rearing equipments, trading opportunity, importance of commercial feeds and its types, recent developments in poultry accessories, automation in poultry production system and disease outbreak in his vast experience.
