Awareness Program on the topic "Electoral Participation Strengthens Democracy"

The Electoral Literacy club of our college organized an Awareness Program on the topic "Electoral Participation Strengthens Democracy" on 17-08-2023. Mrs. R. Shanthi, Tahsildar of Vaniyambadi and Asst Electoral Registration Officer felicitated the program. Ms. Ammu, Advocate from Vaniyambadi as Resource Person Delivered a Lecture on the "Provisions relating to Elections" to the students. Selvi P Premalatha, Revenue Divisional Officer of Vaniyambadi and Electoral Registration Officer advised the students about Healthy Electoral practices. 170 students participated in the program.

Wall Magazine cum Poster Making Competition
The Electoral Literacy club of our college organized a Wall Magazine cum Poster Making Competition for the students of our college on 10-10-2023. The first three prize winners were given cash prize by the District Administration.

Awareness Program on Significance of Electoral Democracy of India

The Electoral Literacy club of our college organized an Awareness Program on Significance of Electoral Democracy of India on 27-10-2023. Six students Delivered speeches on the topic "Indian Democracy & Student Participation". The Revenue Divisional Officer of Vaniyambadi, Selvi P Premalatha and Mr. M Mohan, Tahsildar of Vaniyambadi felicitated the function. Mr. Silambarasan, Deputy Tahsildar and Mr. Arul Mozhi Varman, Revenue Asst. Election Department, Vaniyambadi coordinated in organizing the program. 100 students participated in the program.

Letter Writing Program

The Electoral Literacy club of our college organized a Letter Writing Program in which 88 students participated and wrote a letter to the District Collector advocating the importance of voting on 18-12-2023. The letters were handed over to Mr. Silambarasan, Deputy Tahsildar, Election Department, Vaniyambadi.
