BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON 02-08-2017
In association with Government Hospital Vaniyambadi, YRC unit of Islamiah College organized a Blood donation camp on 02-08-2017. Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, M.B.B.S., medical officer in charge-Blood Bank, Vaniyambadi delivered the special address on the importance of blood donation to the Students. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, Vice Principal, Presided over the function. 100 students donated one unit of Blood each to the Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. The Donors were honored with Government Certificates and Refreshment. Dr. H. S. Muthu Mohamed welcomed the gatherings and Dr. S. Liyakath John proposed vote of Thanks.

In association with Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi, Youth Red Cross organised a blood donation camp in the College Auditorium on 30.01.2018. Dr. Anwarullah Hajee, Secretary and Correspondent presided over the function. Dr. Ambika, Medical officer, delivered a lecture on the importance of blood donation to the students. Dr. K. PremNazeer, Principal, Dr. H. S. Muthu Mohamed, YRC programme officer and other coordinators of NSS, RRC spoke on the occasion. 82 students of YRC, NSS, RRC and Rotaract Club donated one unit of blood each to the Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. All the donors were honoured with refreshment and Certificates.
“108 AMBULANCE AND 104 HEALTH SERVICES” ON 18.09.2017
An Awarness cum orientation programme on “108 Ambulance and 104 Health Services” was organised at Allama Iqbal Auditorium at 10.00 AM on 18.09.2017. Mr. Dinesh, Accident and Emergency care expert, Government Hospital, Tirupattur explained about the various facilities available for the victims at the time of accident. He also made power point presentation of various health facilities available in the government. Dr. K. Prem Nazeer presided over the function. All the Ist year UG students attended the program. Dr. H.S. Muthu Mohamed, YRC program officer coordinated the program.
“INTERNET GAME ADDICTION AND AIDS” ON 17-12-2017
Dr. Mohan Venkatachalapathy, Director, Manoraksha Mental Health Center, Salem Delivered the special lecture on “Internet Games Addiction and AIDS” on 17-12-2017. Dr. K. PremNazeer, Principal Presided over the function. Dr. H. S. Muthu Mohamed, YRC Program Officer welcomed the gatherings. More than 150 students attended the programme and got benefited. Dr. A. Youth Red Cross organised the Health awareness programme, “How to keep your bones healthy” on 23-09-2018 at 11.00 a.m. in Seminar Hall. Dr. C. Parthiban, M.S., delivered a lecture on the topic. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, Principal, presided over the function. Dr. Raja Mohamed Kamil, Vice-Principal delivered the felicitation address. 150 Students participated the Programme. Dr. H.S. The Youth Red Crossh as organized a Special awareness programme on “Acute Coronary Syndrome” on 5thJanuary, 2020 at 3.30 pm in the seminar hall. The meeting began with prayer and Dr. A. Gokulakrishnan welcomed the gathering. Janab Ghani Mohammed Azhar Sahib, General Secretary, VME Society, Janab L.M.Muneer Ahmed Sahib, Secretary and Correspondent, Islamiah College and Janab C.Khaiser Ahmed Sahib, Secretary and Correspondent Islamiah Women’s College, presided over the function. Dr. M.L. Khalid Introduced the Chief Guest. Dr. G.H. Ikramullah, President, Indian Medical Association – Vaniyambadi Branch delivered the presidential address.Dr. Mohamed Ajaz Ghani, M.B.B.S., MRCP, Dip. Cardio. (UK), Consultant Cardiologist delivered a lecture on the above topic. Thirty Medical practitioners of our town and fifty YRC volunteers participated in this program and interacted with the chief guest. Mr. P. Mohammed Aakif student of III B. Sc., Biochemistry proposed the vote of thanks.

Mohamed Ilyas, Principal presided over the function. Dr. M Bilal Ahmed, Rotaract Club member welcomed the gatherings. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, the Principal and Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, M.B.B.S, D.L.O, Blood Bank officer delivered a lecture on the importance of blood donation. Volunteers of YRC, and Rotaract Club had participated in the camp and 80 units of blood were collected and donated to Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. Lions club of Vaniyambadi provided Horlicks packets to the donors. Dr. A. Gokulakrishnan, YRC Coordinator, proposed vote of thanks. All the donors were honoured with Government certificates.

SKIT PLAY/STREET PLAY ON CORONA AWARENESS on 06.08.2021
Youth Red Cross, Islamiah College Vaniyambadi in association with SHG and MGNRGEA of vijillapuram village organized street play /skit play on corona awareness at vijillapuram village on 06.08.2021., with focus on raising awareness among rural communities on the importance of vaccination to overcome the COVID-19 threat and minimize the consequences of an anticipated third wave of the pandemic. The programme started at 12.00 pm at vijilapuram village with welcome address by student V. Manimaran. Dr, A. Gokulakrishnan, YRC coordinator and Dr. M A Farook, YRC member addressed the gathering and emphasized about the importance of maintaining hygiene, Washing hand properly, greeting with no touch, maintaining social distance, If sick follow doctor’s advice and to opt for the two-dose vaccination to protect themselves. The 8 -member troupe of YRC student volunteers namely V. Manimaran, V. Prasanth D. Waheed, K. Karan, D. Aravind Kumar, G. Sarathkumar, Mohammed Zaid, and Markiyar Abrarul Haq And performed the play on corona awareness entitiled “Yamma Dharmaraja and Corona”. The play ends with all the artistes joining hands and chorusing the all-important message of overcoming the pandemic through collective will. We hope that the programme will motivate rural communities to opt for the two-dose vaccination to protect themselves and society at large.
CELEBRATION OF POSHAN PAKHWADA- Awareness programme on Prevention and Treatment of Anaemia in Adolescent Girls on 30.03.2022
Youth Red Cross, in association with Department of Biochemistry Islamiah College (Autonomous) Vaniyambadi organised awareness programme on Prevention and Treatment of Anemia in Adolescent Girls at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Alangayam on 30.03.2022., with focus on raising awareness on anemia among school Adolescent girls. The meeting began with Tamil thai vazhuthu at 10 am. Dr. A. Gokulakrishnan YRC coordinator welcomed the gathering. Dr. N.P.M. Mohamed Tariq Co-Ordinator, Enviro Club introduced the chief guest. The Head Master, Mr. C. Siva, and Assistant Head Master, Mr. G. Anbazhagan, of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Alangayam, felicitated on the acccassion . Dr. Bhuvaneshwari delivered a lecture on Prevention and Treatment of Anemia in Adolescent Girls. Dr. Bhuvaneshwari emphazised, deworming, frequent hand washing and nutritional therapy for anaemia. CELEBRATION OF POSHAN PAKHWADA- Prevention and Treatment of Anaemia in School Children’s – Anaemia Testing Camp on 31-03-2022
Youth Red Cross, in association with Department of Biochemistry Islamiah College (Autonomous) Vaniyambadi organised an Anaemia Testing Camp for School Children’s at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Alangayam on 31.03.2022., with focus on raising awareness on anaemia among school girls. The camp was Co-ordinated by Dr. A. Gokulakrishnan, YRC Co-ordinator and Dr. M. A. Farook, Member YRC. The camp began with Height and Weight measurement, Questionnaire and followed by collection of Blood by the team members consisting of Sister Hemalatha, Mr. K. Muhammed Shariq and Student volunteers. A total of 52 blood samples were collected and processed by Mr. A. Amjad Hussain and Mr P. Mohammed Kashif using Horiba Cell Counter. Out of 52 samples collected, only 5 students are normal, 25 students are mild Anaemic, 16 students are moderate anaemic and 6 students affected by severe anaemia. The compiled results were submitted to the Head Master and Dr. Bhuvaneshwari.

Anbazhagan, of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Alangayam, felicitated on the occasion . Dr. Nusrathunnisha, Islami Baithul Mal Charitable Clinic, Vaniyambadi delivered a lecture on AYUSH for Prevention and Management of Anaemia. Dr. Nusrathunnisha individually counselled all the 52 students who have been screened for Anaemia and prescribed AYUSH treatment for Anaemia. Finally Dr. M.A. Farook. REPORT 2017-18
First Blood donation camp was held on 02-08-2017 and more then 100 units of blood donated to Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi.
Awareness lecture on Ambulance (108) and health service (104) was held in auditorium on 18-09-2017, more then 50 RRC volunteers attended the programme.

ANTI-DRUG DAY RALLY ON 26.06.2018
International Anti-Drug day was observed by conducting a Rally along with Dr. Akbar Kausar’s medical unit on 26th June 2018. The Rally was flagged off by sub collector of Tirupattur Selvi B. Priyanka Pankajam, IAS. Our college Principal, Deputy superintendent of police Mr. C. Murali, Dr. Akbar Kausar and NSS PO were present on that occasion.
REPORT (2019 – 2020)
1. 100 students enrolled as RRC volunteers for the academic year 2019-2020.
2. International Anti Drug day was held on 26th June 2019, awareness rally was organized along with Dr. Akbar Kausar.
3. First Blood donation camp was held on 21st August 2019 more than 100 Units of blood were donated to Government Hospital Vaniyambadi.
4. Second Blood donation camp was held on 11th December 2019, 104 Units of blood were donated to Government Hospital Vaniyambadi.
5. Vaccine Hesitancy awareness rally was organized 9th October 2019. Dr. Hari Prasad, Medical Officer, Government Primary Health center, Newtown, Vaniyambadi Delivered message of “Importance of Vaccination” to the students.
6. Our RRC Volunteers assist in the Polio-Drop programme at Municipal High School, Gandhi Nagar, New Town, Vaniyambadi on 19.01.2019.
7. Awareness Lecture on Corona Virus (COVID-19) was held on 10th& 11th March 2020. Dr.Pasupathy, Medical Officier, Government Hospital, Alangayam and Dr. D. Senthil Kumar, Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi, gave awareness lectures to our students. More than 500 students attended and benefited from the awareness lecture.

TANSACS organized a Quiz program on 29.11.2021. Our RRC Volunteers registered

A Awareness programme on Cyber crime and Preventive Measure was organised in
coordination with Cyber crime branch Tirupattur and New VisionTrust, Ambur on 04-
03-2022. More than 50 RRC Volunteers attended the programme.

Road Rally - Traffic Awareness on 01.08.2018
On 01.08.2018 the Rotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit organized programme on Road Rally - Traffic Awareness along with sponsoring Rotary Club of Vaniyambadi Midtown, RI District 3231, Vaniyambadi. Dr. M.A. Bilal Ahmed headed the rally with 93 Rotaractors in the event.
National Polio Eradication Campaign on 10.03.2019
On 10.03.2019, on the eve of the Polio Eradication Drive nine Rotarctors from theRotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit went to administer Polio drops for children below the age of 5 years at Bus Stand Vaniyambadi. Honourable Minister for Labour Welfare and Employment of Tamil Nadu visited the site.
International Blood Donation Day on 01.10.2019
On 01.10.2019, the eve of International Blood Donation Day, the Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi conducted a special blood donation camp, quiz programme, and honouring of organizers of blood donation camps with shaal and trophy’s, where Dr.S. Liyahath John, Associate Professor & Head, Commerce (F&A), has honoured with best organizer in the blood donation activities held at in our college, tie-up with Vaniyambadi Government Hospital, following with Department of Commerce (F&A) students donated 4 units of Blood on the occasion.
National Polio Eradication Campaign on 31.01.2021
On the eve of the National Polio Eradication Campaign on 31.01.2021, 10 Rotaractors from our college unit, joined with Rotary Club Vaniyambadi Midtown 3231, and administered polio drops for the children below the age of 5 at Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. More than 250 children were administered the polio drops.Honourable Minister for Labour Welfare and Employment of Tamil Nadu was also present at the event.
Installation of Rotaract Club Cum Blood Donation Camp on 11.03.2021
On 11.03.2021, the installation of the Rotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit was held at AllamaIqbal Auditorium. The Rtn. Dr Faran Saud, The President of Rotary Club of Vaniyambadi Midtown 3231 collared, and the Rotaract President-elect Mr. Suhail Ahmed of III B.COM (F&A), along with the following15 Rotaractors assumed as office bearers. Followed by Blood donation programme to government Hospital, Vaniyambadi.Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, Blood Bank Officer, Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi and his team conducted bleeding process. Totally 80 units of blood donated by student of Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi. The Red Ribbon Club, Youth Red Cross,and National Service Scheme also joined in the blood donation program. The sponsoring Rotary Club offered Horlicks packets, dates and food packets to blood donors.

Rotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit Installation Function on18.08.2022
The Rotaract Club of Islamiah College unit, RI District 3231,wasinstalled on 18th August 2022; the program began with qirath by Past President of the Club, Mr. AffanAnasOnji,followed by Thamizthaivazthu by Present President Mr.K. Adeeb Sufiyan. Rtn R.V Kumar, President of Rotary Club of Vaniyambadi Mid-town, RIDistrict 3231 delivered a welcome address and Dr.T. Mohammed Ilyas, the Principal of Islamiah College offered the felicitation. Rtn.D.Venkatesh District Chairman of Rotaract Clubdelivered his presidential address, later Dr.S.Liyahath John spoke on the importance of this Rotaract club and its benefits to society. Finally, the office bears took charge of the newly installed Rotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit of 2022 –‘23
Blood donation Camp on 29.09.2022
Rotaract Club of Islamiah College Unit, RI District 3231, in association with Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi, and Youth Red Cross organised a blood donation camp on 20.09.2022 at 10.00 am at Allama Iqbal Auditorium. Dr. S. Liyahath John, Rotaract Club Coordinator welcomed the gatherings. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, the Principal presided over the function. Dr. P.F .Tanveer Ahmed, M.B.B.S, D.L.O, conducted the blood donation process. The coordinators of the Rotaract Club, YRC, NSS, RRC, and Leo Club participated the program. 90 students donated one unit of blood each to the Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. All the donors were honored with Government certificates and refreshments.
A.P.J.Abdul Kalams 91st Birth Anniversary Celebrations on 15.10.2022
Rotaract club of Islamiah College unit organised a program on India’s "Missile Man" Dr.A.P.J.AbdulKalamon15.10.2022 at 10.00 am at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, along with Vrutsa Foundation and celebrated Kalam's 91st Birth Anniversary with student's participation.The program began with Thamizthaivazthu by Rotaractor Adeeb Sufiyan.K of Islamiah College unit.Rtn. Chakravarthi welcomed the gatherings. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, Principal presided over the function.Dr. S. Liyahath John, Rotaract Club Coordinatorof Islamiah College offered his felicitation. The part of celebrations Government school student’s elocution, quiz and their talents were exhibited.Next the chief guest Mr.Arunachalam Retd. Scientist &former Deputy Project Director, U R Rao Satellite Centre,Bengaluru spoke about the history and success of Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalamwith a PowerPoint presentation. The program ends with the model rocket launch by the chief guest along with all the members involved in the program.

Dr. A. Gokulakrishnan, YRC Coordinator welcomed the gatherings. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, Principal presided over the function. Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, M.B.B.S, D.L.O, Blood Bank officer delivered a lecture on the importance of blood donation to the students. The coordinators & members of Rotaract Club, YRC, NSS, RRC and Leo club participated the programme. 100 students donated one unit of blood each to the Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. Dr. M. Mujibur Rahman, NSS Programme Officer, proposed vote of thanks. All the donors were honoured with Government certificates and refreshments.

Special Lectures on 11- 03- 2018
Adv. T. A Mohammed Akbar Basha, a renowned practicing lawyer, delivered a thought provoking speech on “Consumer Protection”. He explained the subject in a very pleasant manner based on his in-depth knowledge and highlighted some of the best case studies of his career.
Miss Prasanna spoke on “Consumer Rights in Banking Sector”. She highlighted the various services offered by the Banking sector as well as explained in a very simple manner as to how a consumer can get his rights protected in the Banks.
