January 26, 2025, Islamiah College (Autonomous) hosted Republic Day celebrations, which included parades, a flag-hoisting ceremony and Republic Day address. Flag was hosted by the principal. Dr. T. Afsar Basha, Following the raising of the flag, the gathering was offered tea and snacks. Dr. Lt. S.N. Mohamed Assarudeen, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, welcomed the gathering. Prof. M. Siddique Ahmed, Assistant Professor of History, was the chief guest, he addressed the audience about the value of patriotism and national unity. The Republic Day address began with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and concluded with National Anthem.
