78th Graduation Day (Phase-II)

The 78th Graduation Day (Phase-II) of Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi, was held at the Allama Iqbal Auditorium, today, October 26, 2024. Mr.L.M. Muneer Ahmed, Secretary and Correspondent declared the graduation day open.

Dr. T. Afsar Basha, Principal, welcomed the gathering and presided over the Graduation Day Function. 
Today's Graduation Ceremony featured an introduction of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour by Dr. S. Khader Nawaz, Vice Principal (Academics).

The Chief Guest Janab, Imthiaz Pasha Sahib, President of the Muslim Educational Association of Southern India, Chennai,  highly praised parents and students for selecting this esteemed, century-old college. Because there are many opportunities to succeed and challenges to overcome in the modern world, he encouraged the students to be more creative with new concepts and ideas. He also emphasized that the current pleasant employment may become obsolete in 7–10 years due to the development of artificial intelligence. He went so far as to say that concentrating on and using AI in schools and other workplaces will improve our quality of life and put us on level with other developed countries.

The Guest of honour Dr. Sreedaran, Principal, Muthurangam Government Arts College (Autonomous), Vellore complimented the management and faculty on their A++ grade. He emphasized that a person's efforts are strengthened by genuine hard work, love for others, and belief in education. He told the students that developing one's character, attitude, and calibre will help one maintain their success, in addition to having a good degree. He used Gandhiji's life as an illustration of honesty.
  
The graduands were presented by the respective department Heads and after the customary pledge, Degree Certificates were distributed by the Chief Guest Janab, Imthiaz Pasha Sahib and Guest of Honour Dr. Sreedaran.

The Ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
