The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Islamiah College organized a One Day Workshop on ‘RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN LIFE SCIENCES’ for Faculty Members and Research Scholars of Life Sciences on 16.03.2021 at Seminar Hall for promoting research among Faculty Members and Research Scholars.
The Inaugural Session of the Workshop commenced with the invocation by Mr. A. Khaleequzzaman, Programme Coordinator. Dr. S. Raja Mohamed Kamil, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator welcomed the gathering and enlightened the importance of Research. Dr. T. Mohamed Ilyas, Principal, delivered Key Note Address and highlighted the significance of the Workshop and Research in the present scenario.
In the Technical Session - I, Dr. H. Abdul Jaffar Ali, Assistant Professor and HOD of Biotechnology, delivered a thought-provoking speech on ‘Research Design and Thesis Writing’ through PowerPoint Presentation.
In the Technical Session – II, Dr. S.U. Mohammed Riyaz, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology, delivered a comprehensive speech on ‘Funding Agencies for Faculty Members and Research Scholars’ through PowerPoint Presentation.
The workshop was attended by Faculty Members and Research Scholars from Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi, Islamiah Women’s College and KMG College of Arts and Science. The programme concluded with the Valedictory Address and Vote of thanks by Dr. S. Raja Md. Kamil, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator.
