Mr K Sivagurunathan, R &D Chemist at Biocon, Bengaluru, will be defending his thesis entitled "Efficient One-pot selective reduction of esters and synthesis of novel pyrazolothiazole derivatives" on 15th December, 2013. The External Examiner will be Dr A Abdul Jabbar, Associate Professor of Chemistry, The New College, Chennai and the Supervisor is Dr. S Raja Mohamed Kamil, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi.
