Re - accredited by the NAAC with ''A'' grade


The National Service Scheme of our College has been in the forefront of activities like literacy drive, adult education, flood relief, shramdan, ecology awareness, rural development, social development, health drive, human rights education, afforestation, campus cleaning, rain water harvesting, national integration, campaign against AIDS, Pulse Polio Programme, Blood Donation Camps, and a host of other programmes.

The NSS started with a single unit of 75 students has now grown to three units with a strength of 300 students.

Every year the NSS adopts a village and conducts a seven day camp in which NSS volunteers execute various programmes including road repair, temple and mosque renovation, provision of basic amenities, adult education, literacy drive, medical camp, etc.

Programmes of other sorts like cleaning the College Campus, hospital visits to serve the patients, and helping the police to regulate traffic are undertaken by NSS volunteers on a regular basis.

Prof. Gundu Aarif Ahmed, M.A., M.Com., M.Phil, Dr. R. Sheik Hameed, M.A., M.Phil., B.Ed., Ph.D., and Prof. A. Md. Ali, M.Sc., M.Phil., are the NSS Programme Officers.
